Industrial Sustainability Study.

This research project required high response rates from around the world in order to be valuable. The population surveyed (researchers mostly at universities) were busy, but online.

The form provided an efficient way to gather a high rate of responses. The form was taken down in 2004.

We created and maintained (for 5 years) the web site for an energy research company. In 1995, when we first started working on this project (for Atlantic Energy), almost every science-oriented site's pages had default gray backgrounds. We started with white to make the text more legible, but eventually went to a black background.

This was an extensive site, and many pdf files for the theory pages which have formulas that wouldn't work well in html, so we were early adoptors of Adobe's Acrobat Portable Document Format - pdf.

Mannington hired Communicating Advantage to do an intranet (a closed-system for their 250 sales reps).

AtlantiCare has had a long-standing relationship with us, and we have helped them to save communications dollars by bringing more of their projects in-house. Communicating Advantage was hired to train web design to their public relations staff. We continued to provide assistance and support for several years. (The site has now gone into different hands (InfoShare - a division of AtlantiCare) took over responsibility for their web presence, Above is an example of their original navbar.

For several years, we setup and managed (performed monthly updates on) the web-based publication of the Physician Directory, the database of over 4000 doctors associated with AtlantiCare's Health Plans - their medical insurance division.

RSL, Inc. manufacturers doorlights and has a division that uses decorative glass. We have provided RSL with their 32-page catalogs since 1995, and create new customized literature for their clients (wholesalers and distributors) regularly throughout the year.
